This article describes how Add-ons are versioned.
Product version compatibility
Add-ons are compatible with one or more minor versions of Litium Studio/Scensum. With "Minor" means version 4.4 or 4.5. If an Add-on is compatible with version 4.4, it means that is also compatible with all service releases on version 4.4: 4.4.1, 4.4.2 and so on until 4.5 is released.
Add-on version
Add-ons themselves can come in different versions (compatible with the same version of Litium Studio/Scensum). Stable Add-on should be versioned as [major.minor], for example "1.1", "2.0". Only the latest version of the Add-on is available on Litium Studio/Scensum Knowledge Center.
If the Add-on is not yet in a stable version it can be released as [major.minor CTP] - with "CTP" meaning "Community Technical Preview". For Example "2.0 CTP". CTP-versions are available alongside the latest stable version of the Add-on.
The Add-on version is included in the Add-on name, for example "Starter Site eCommerce 1.2".
