There was also an issue connected to the new panels, where the relations module would not work without a product catalog license. Litium Studio is a service release which focuses on improvements rather than new functionality. The main highlights are:

• Litium Studio 4.5.2 back office now has full support for Internet Explorer 9
• The brand new editor has an updated interface and functionality for adding Flash objects directly in the editor
• Companies using Relations to manage large amounts of organizations will experience significant performance improvements

Upgrading to Litium Studio 4.5.2 from the latest version of Litium Studio is simple and quick using the upgrade program. It will not take longer than applying an ordinary hotfix.

Hotfix 16 mainly consists of improvements and fixes for the Relations module. It also addresses customers wanting to shut off the task “clean up URL history” in the Web Publishing module. By default all URL history in Litium studio is cleaned every 90 days. If you prefer, you can change the settings for "Count" and "Days" in the Web.Config. If you want to shut off this task completely, by commenting out, you need to apply this hotfix. 

Since the improvements in this hotfix only affect some of our customers, it is classified as "Optional".

In multi-server environments, a message notifies the user that information has not been saved, if the server containing the storage folder is down.

When adding custom permissions to a group it is now reflected on group members that have been denied permission before.

PayEx has withdrawn money even though payment status is “Reservation failed”. This has been corrected in this hotfix. 

Since the improvements in this hotfix only affect some customers, it is classified as "Optional".

We have improved the Web Publishing module allowing editors to edit multiple working copies at the same time. Previosly there was no support for this behaviour causing an error saying that "The working copy has been deleted" and could not be restored.

PayEx has changed their API and accordingly we have updated our PayEx plugin. Customers using PayEX must therefore add the hotfix before PayEx implement their changes (please contact PayEx for more info) or it will stop working.

There is also a minor improvement made for DIBS in this hotfix. For more details, please read the release notes.

Since the improvements in this hotfix affect customers using Web publishing as well as all PayEx users, it is classified as "Recommended".

Litium Studio is shipped with a time limited demo license for use during project development. The license in the Litium Studio 4.5.1 package has expired and there is now a new demo license and updated release packages available for download (you need to be logged in to access this page).

Once a project is finished, the demo license must always be replaced by a customer specific license. Otherwise, when the evaluation time has expired, the installation can no longer be used.

This Hotfix is mainly about improvements but also includes a fix for general problems with loss of permissions for system users (thus there is no risk for users acquiring more permissions than they should have). This hotfix is therefore classified as recommended.

If you are using the product Catalog there are some improvements made to multiediting products/articles and importing. The hotfix should also be installed if Newsletter is a critical function.

We have created three new add-ons to Litium Studio during summer. You can now add a mobile website to your Litium Studio installation and manage it from back office, just like any other site. The same goes for the Facebook Page Intagration add-on which allows you to add pages with information from Litium Studio on your company Facebook page. Desmo Web Charity is about presenting e-commerce customers with the option to make a donation for a charity organisation after completing checkout. It is free of charge and we will even install it for you without any cost. Read more in the add-ons section of KC or at our website (Swedish only).

This hotfix applies to customers having large variant groups (more than 25 variants) wanting to sort the variants. We also added a new text field called "Text Middle" correspondant to "Text Long" but without an editor. Thus the field value does not include any HTML tags. Since this hotfix applies to a limited number of projects, it is classified as Optional.

Sites using DIBS accounts created before February 2011 will continue working as before, but if generating a new key you need to apply this hotfix. New accounts created after February also need the hotfix in order to work. Since this can be critical for customers using DIBS, we chose to classify the hotfix as Recommended.

Hotfix 11 also includes fixes concerning publishing products both in the Web Publishing and Product Catalog module. For more details, please read the release notes.

In February 2011 DIBS changed the way the security hash is calculated. Customers using accounts which have been created before February will work as before, using the Litium Studio DIBS dll-file. However, they should not delete the existing MAC (Message Authentication Code) key and generate a new one until the next hotfix, solving this issue, has been applied. The hotfix will be released next week.

Hotfix 10 includes improvements using batch edit in the Product catalog. There are also some performance imrovements made for working in the Procuct Catalog. Since most of the contents of this hotfix are either improvements or fixes for very specific and not very common situations, this hotfix is classified as optional. Hotfix 9 includes performance improvements for rebuilding product indices in the Product Catalog. The Active Directory sync has been corrected as well as permission problems existing at sites with logged-in users, for example intranets. Since these issues concern specific websites using login functions or Active Directory synchronization, this hotfix is classified as optional. For more details, please read the release notes.

Hotfix 8 includes a fix for editing orders, a function available only when an order is in "init" state. Since editing orders is not very common this hotfix is classified as optional. As addition to this we have added some usability improvements for the Product Catalog as well as improvements in Newsletter for customers using multiserver environments. It is now possible for you to keep track of product bugs reported on Litium Studio Knowledge Center. The report form has been given a facelift and is now more intuitive to fill in. We have also added some tips on how to fill in the report for faster response time.

Once a bug has been submitted, you can check its status and much more. We have added information about priority, planned release and related bugs. You can choose to display all bugs or filter by version, product area or select bugs reported by yourself.

This hotfix resolves an issue in backoffice search found in Hotfix 2. This issue shows as error messages when editing persons or organisations. If you have installed Hotfix 2, we strongly recommend that you also install Hotfix 3.

Therefore we have decided to issue a new release of Litium Studio 4.5.1 this week. If you have already started an upgrade project you can safely continue, and when released, simply download and run the upgrade tool once more. If you have not yet started an upgrade project we recommend that you await the new release.
